This central IP 67 distribution system suitable for bus use is installed directly on site and not somewhere aside in a control cabinet. e2c can easily be installed and configured. The system is of modular design and provided with a continuous diagnostic management. e2c supports the systems Profibus, DeviceNet and Interbus. With e2c it is the user who decides which I/O modules are combined with which bus system.

e2c 67 Configuration tool
The diagnostic parameters of the e2c system can be changed by the seprarate configuration and diagnostic software CoDi. This individual configuation is transferred to the BusHead (serial or parallel) and stored as a target configuration. This software can be used for direct observation of all diagnostic and status information and to trigger the outputs directly. This means that a complete periphery check can take place before the full wiring of the machine has been completed.
