Direkt vor Ort und nicht abseits im Schaltschrank wird dieses zentrale, busfähige IP-67-Verteilersystem eingesetzt. e2c ist einfach zu installieren und zu konfigurieren. Das System ist modular aufgebaut und besitzt ein durchgängiges Diagnosemanagement. e2c unterstützt die Systeme Profibus, DeviceNet und Interbus. Mit e2c bestimmt der Anwender, welche I/O-Module mit welchem Bussystem kombiniert werden.

e2c 67 Konfigurationstool
Die Diagnoseparameter des e2c-Systems können individuell über die separate Konfigurations- und Diagnosesoftware CoDi verändert werden.Die Konfiguration wird in den BusHead (seriell oder parallel) übertragen und als Sollkonfiguration abgespeichert. Sämtliche Diagnose- und Statusinformationen können direkt beobachtet und die Ausgänge angesteuert werden. Dadurch kann ein kompletter Peripheriecheck bereits erfolgen, bevor die Gesamtverdrahtung der Maschine abgeschlossen ist.
